Xiaoya & Kurt

photos courtesy of  Caileigh Langford:

location : Cranberry Creek Garden

Vivid Memories:

The way Kurt reacted the first time he saw Xiaoya on the wedding day as she walked down the aisle toward him. The way they reacted when they saw their reception after months of planning. How Xiaoya threw three bouquets to an all-gender group as there's "so much love to go around." How delicious the dinner from the local caterer was. How much the dance floor shook when everyone ran in excited for the last song of the night.

Vogue Choices:

Inspiration from both Chinese culture with the use of oranges and blue and white pottery in the decor, and from Provence with the use of herb plants and soft fabrics. Using the herbs for ceremony and reception decor, and having them as guest favors for an eco-friendly option. Fresh rosemary at every place setting. Dried orange slices that the bride made herself as the seating cards.
